- How does the storm water system in South Jordan work?
- Curbs and gutter channel water runoff from our streets and land into pipes underground which eventually carry the water back into local bodies of water such as the Jordan River, irrigation ditches, and canals.
- Why is this important?
- Anything that gets into the storm water system will eventually end up in local bodies of water. To protect these bodies of water from further pollution the EPA requires local agencies to help control pollution from getting into the storm drain system.
