Individuals interested in donating their time to the City must complete and sign a Volunteer Application Form. The recommended minimum commitment is usually two to four hours per week, but is flexible depending on the position and circumstances. The maximum commitment is 40 hours per week.

Depending on the nature of the assignment (i.e., handling money, working with children, security issues), the department will determine the need to complete a State Criminal Background Check and/or Drug Screen.
