Finance Department

The Finance Department has the fiduciary responsibility for providing policy and program direction to safeguard the City's financial assets and manages its financial resources in accordance with the goals of the City Council, and in compliance with applicable laws and generally accepted accounting and financial management principles. The department interacts with and supports all departments and agencies of the City by providing comprehensive financial services.

The department performs five major functions: budget, purchasing, accounting, utility billing, and treasury functions for the City.
