Our bicycle rodeo course is designed to teach children the importance of riding a bicycle, or scooter, safely. Each bicycle rodeo begins with a short lecture on bicycle safety, how to correctly adjust and wear your helmet, and a safety check for both the rider and the bicycle or scooter. This course also includes paying attention to your surroundings, what to do at an intersection, and what street signs to pay attention to.
We schedule our bicycle rodeos beginning in May through August. Each rodeo is roughly one-hour and we limit the maximum number of participants to 30.
