Household hazardous waste can be disposed of at household hazardous waste drop-off locations, free to Salt Lake County residents.

E-Waste

E-Waste or electronic waste includes items like:

  • Batteries
  • Mobile phones
  • Computers
  • Televisions
  • Audio equipment
  • Printers

Generally, if an item contains a circuit board or battery, it is considered E-waste.

Disposal

The Salt Lake County Health Department offers e-waste recycling year-round and free of charge at county collection facilities.
