Collection for the following holidays will be delayed by one day and for all days remaining in that week:
- New Year’s Day
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
South Jordan participates in the Trans-Jordan Landfill. The City’s contractor observes the same holiday schedule as the landfill; therefore there will be no collections on New Year’s, Christmas, Independence, and Thanksgiving days. Collections after the holiday will be delayed one day for the remainder of that week, only when the actual holiday falls on a weekday.
