Residents can schedule a Special Service Pick-up for items that cannot be picked up by the normal weekly garbage service, for a $15 fee.
Debris must be bagged or boxed and may not be larger than a 5 feet by 5 feet by 5 feet pile. In lieu of a pile, one or two large items such as couches or appliances may be placed for pick up.
The standard fee for a Special Garbage pickup is $15 at time of scheduling. Owners can schedule pickups for their renters.
Tires, batteries, drum containers, concrete, household hazardous waste, large tree stumps, dumpster in a bag, piles of dirt, and E-Waste (televisions, computers, keyboards, printers, etc.) cannot be picked up by this service. E-Waste can be taken to Trans-Jordan Landfill at no charge.
Disposal of Hazardous waste and E-waste is free to Salt Lake County residents at the Trans-Jordan Landfill.
