FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SOUTH JORDAN, UT – April, 3, 2023 — The City of South Jordan is thrilled to announce its annual Spring Spectacular event on Saturday, April 8, 2023. The event will take place at the South Jordan Softball Fields, located at 10800 S. Redwood Road, from 9:00am to 10:30am.
Spring Spectacular 2023 promises to be a fun-filled morning for families and individuals of all ages. Attendees will enjoy a candy scramble, live music by Dr. Noize, a baby animal petting zoo, The Dunk Team, and a chance to win a free tree for your yard. The candy scramble will begin promptly at 10:00am and will be divided into age groups for children ages 1 to 12 years old, as well as an adaptive area for those with adaptive or special needs.
In addition to the fun-filled activities, the City of South Jordan will be hosting a community engagement activity for its first-ever Arts Master Plan.
“We will be at Spring Spectacular collecting feedback, which includes an interactive experience for attendees to share their ideas, ask questions, and offer feedback about art in South Jordan,” said Recreation Director Janell Payne.
The community is encouraged to provide input that will guide the city on how to bring and grow more art in our community.
There will be an adaptive area available at the event for people of any age with unique and/or adaptive needs and their siblings.
Attendees are encouraged to use the event map provided to plan their parking and event navigation.
The weather may impact the mode of this event. For the most up-to-date information about Spring Spectacular 2023 or the Arts Master Plan, please visit the City of South Jordan's website.
