This project addresses the pressing needs of senior residents by introducing a dedicated 17,000-square-foot Senior Center alongside 138 senior housing units, including 104 reserved for affordable living.
Mayor Dawn Ramsey expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Our thriving seniors have been asking for a dedicated space for years. There has been high demand to support our senior community and expand our services, and this project allows us to do that."
The meticulously designed Senior Center, shaped with insights from seniors themselves, promises versatile spaces for activities, a well-equipped kitchen, and convenient parking. The project is a joint venture between South Jordan City and Ivory Innovations Operating Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to innovative and affordable housing solutions.

Additionally, the project will undergo review by the Planning Commission on October 24, 2023, and a public hearing on the site plan and rezone will be held by the City Council on November 7, 2023.
