Weather permitting, crews will be working every night through Tuesday, November 22nd. They will be installing stripes and traffic markings (crosswalks, stop bars and turn arrows) on sidestreets by Bangerter Highway intersections, as well as sealing cracks between the Highway’s concrete slabs.

Although the concrete grinding has been completed, there will be nightly lane restrictions as this work is performed. Please slow down and watch for crews and equipment throughout the construction zone. Additionally, please watch for merging vehicles and vehicles that slow suddenly. We advise finding an alternate route every night through November 22nd.

UDOT will be performing maintenance on the concrete pavement on Bangerter Highway from 9000 South to the I-15 interchange. The purpose of this project is to restore the concrete pavement to a smoother and safer surface.

This project is expected to begin the first week of August and go until Thanksgiving.

Work will usually take place during nighttime hours, from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Construction crews will work on two lanes at a time, leaving at least one lane open in both directions.

Please obey all traffic signals and drive slowly when going through the project for the safely of construction crews and damage to your vehicle.
