Nathan Gedge was born and raised in South Jordan, where his family has resided since 1950. He and his wife, Julie, have five children. Nate graduated from the University of Utah, where he majored in political science and has been working in the health care industry for the past 24 years. He currently works as the Director of Pharmacy and Medicare for a Utah-based health insurance company. Prior to returning home to South Jordan, Nate served on the West Jordan Planning Commission for six years, including the last two as chair, and also on Western Stampede, where he also served as chair. Nate is the co-founder and trustee of the Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes, a non-profit organization that operates Utah's diabetes camp for children, Camp UTADA.
