Laurel Bevans was born and raised in West Jordan. After spending several years in Phoenix, AZ she and her family moved back to Utah in the summer of 2017 and landed in South Jordan. Laurel has been civically involved since she was a young child. She spent her summers in high school at Georgetown University studying constitutional law, the presidency and congressional powers and attended political conferences all over the country as a young adult prior to starting a family. She has worked on many local, state and national campaigns. She served on the planning commission for Woods Cross City prior to moving to Phoenix. She recently served on the Arts Council for South Jordan City and enjoys serving with the South Jordan police community advisory board. She has spent many years working in the Legal field as well as managing sales teams for several large international companies. She currently works as an independent consultant for several industries including Industrial food, Specialty Commodity Foods, and Construction. She enjoys her side job as a newborn photographer and enjoys spending all the time she can with her family. She and her husband have one dog and a blended family of 7 children ranging in age from 16 to 6.
