The SoJo Marathon is just two weeks away. The last day to register online is October 9, so if you haven’t yet, now’s the time! Whether you’re participating or not, there are traffic impacts for many residents on October 12. The following are the expected closures and delays the morning of the event.

  • Riverfront Parkway will be closed from the roundabout south of Midas Pond Road to Parkway Palisades Road starting at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12. All participants should use 10400 S (South Jordan Parkway) to access parking and the Finish Line Expo.
  • One westbound lane of Daybreak Parkway will be closed to traffic from Oakmond Road to Oquirrh Lake Road from 7:30 AM—10:00 AM.
  • The SoDa Row Block (Kestrel Rise Road) will be closed from 6:15 AM– 7:45 AM.
  • State Road U-111 will be closed to south bound traffic ONLY from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. north bound traffic will remain open.
  • Oquirrh Lake Rd from Daybreak Parkway (11400 S.) to South Jordan Parkway (10400 S.) will be closed from 7:30 AM – 11 AM.
  • One southbound lane of 4000 W. will be closed from 11400 S to 11800 S from 7:45–11 AM.
  • The intersections at 11400 South at 4000 West and 3200 West will experience significant delays.
  • The intersection at 10400 South and 3200 West will experience significant delays.
  • The intersection at 9800 South and Redwood Road will experience significant delays.
  • The intersection at 9800 South and 1300 West will experience significant delays.
