The Neighborhood Dumpster Program is a low-cost service that includes the delivery of a 15-yard waste dumpster for $40 per day and $80 per weekend/holiday. This service is for residential use only. Renters will not be allowed to schedule dumpsters but can request the property owner to schedule one on their behalf.
Accepted & Unacceptable Items
There are restrictions on what can and can't be placed in the dumpster.
Acceptable items include:
Work out equipment
Green waste (yard debris, small root balls, and small amounts of sod)
Household items including appliances without Freon
Small amounts of construction debris
Small equipment without gas or oil
Drum containers cut in half
Unacceptable items include:
Rock materials (rocks, dirt, asphalt, and concrete)
E-Waste (Batteries, TVs, computers and other electronic devices)
Toxic hazardous or flammable materials (pesticides, herbicides, solvents, chemicals, paints, motor oil, gasoline)
Large tree stumps or large root balls
Dumpster rental fees must be paid in advance. Any additional violation fees are applied to the following month’s utility bill.
